We love how it is so obvious that the interest is mutual between the two of them. Yes, Simon is sitting at the window, waiting for the neighbor's cat every day, but there's a reason he does that. It's because the neighbor's cat actually shows up there and looks back. We are so, so happy that the owners noticed this happening and cared enough to do something about it - to bring these two star-crossed lovers to each other. First, with the notes, then with opening the windows, and then finally, with actually getting the two of them to meet and interact with one another in the same room.

It is so not an obvious thing to do - to get cats out of their houses and comfort zones to get them to meet another cat. We can only imagine how much deliberation it took between the owners to decide whether it was worth it or not. And they decided that it was. And oh- it was. We don't think that we have ever seen two cats who don't know each other get used to each other's company so quickly. They are clearly a bonded pair. It was written somewhere in the stars, and they were brought together exactly how they were supposed to.
